To ensure a smooth experience, you will receive a welcome form via text along with your appointment confirmation. If you haven’t filled it out yet, please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time to complete it in the salon.
If you have any health conditions, allergies, injuries, or are pregnant, please let us know at the time of booking, as some treatments may not be suitable for individuals with specific conditions.

Timeliness and Consideration:
Out of respect for all clients, we complete treatments as scheduled. We strongly encourage you to arrive early, as late arrivals may result in a shorter treatment time.

Pricing and Services:
We reserve the right to update treatment, product, and service pricing without prior notice. Please note that prices may vary depending on individual needs, the program chosen, or the service/product selected.
If you purchase a product in the salon and find it faulty, or if you're unsatisfied with a service, we may offer an exchange or refund at our discretion. Please contact the salon within 72 hours of your service to resolve any issues.

Change of Mind:
We do not offer refunds for a change of mind. However, if you are dissatisfied with the service provided, we are happy to make adjustments within three days of your appointment. To ensure we can accurately assess and correct any concerns, we ask that you return to the salon for an inspection of the service. We will make every effort to resolve the issue to your satisfaction, which may include rescheduling with the therapist who performed the original treatment.
Please note that this policy applies only to services that have been performed, not to products purchased in the salon. Adjustments will be based on the nature of the concern and are at the discretion of the salon management.

Gift Cards:
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy:
When you book an appointment with us, we reserve that time exclusively for you. Late cancellations or no-shows result in missed opportunities for other clients and disrupt our business.
To protect both you and The House of Beauty, we require card details at the time of booking through our secure online system. Your card will not be charged unless you are paying a deposit, there is a late cancellation or no-show.
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel. Confirmation reminders are sent the day before your appointment.
-
Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a fee of 50% of the treatment value.
-
No-Shows (failure to show up for your appointment or contact us) will incur a fee of 100% of the treatment value.
These fees will be charged to the card on file. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and consideration will be given in those cases.
By booking an appointment, you agree to our cancellation and no-show policy.

Accessibility:
If you are bringing children in a pram or have mobility concerns, please let us know. We have one downstairs, easily accessible treatment room.

Payment Policy:
We accept payments via Eftpos, Visa, MasterCard, and cash. Unfortunately, we do not accept bank cheques or American Express. Payment for services must be made on the day of treatment.
If payment is not received on the day of your treatment, or if you leave the salon without informing the therapist, your future appointments will be canceled, and you will be banned from the salon. In such cases, The House of Beauty reserves the right to pursue legal action.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 6393 3222.

Client Care and Safety Policy:
At The House of Beauty, we are committed to providing the highest standards of care. While we take every precaution to ensure a safe experience, it’s important to understand that all clients, whether it’s their first or hundredth appointment, may still experience an adverse reaction or sensitivity to certain products or treatments. Reactions can occur when the body’s immune system or skin has an adverse response to a product, ingredient, or chemical used during the treatment. These reactions may present as irritation, allergic reactions, or sensitivity, depending on individual tolerance. Common reactions may include eye or skin itchiness, redness, swelling, discomfort, or, in rare cases, scarring, bruising, allergic reactions, or changes in pigmentation. While such reactions are not always common and most treatments are generally safe when performed by qualified professionals using the appropriate products and techniques, individual skin types and sensitivities can lead to unexpected outcomes.
Despite our careful approach, it is important to note that reactions and sensitivities are beyond our control. Our team members are not medical professionals and cannot provide medical advice. Should you experience an adverse reaction, we strongly encourage you to seek immediate medical attention. Please notify us of any adverse reactions, so we can provide you with a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the ingredients used in your treatment, which can be shared with your healthcare provider for further guidance.
As adverse reactions cannot always be predicted without a patch test, we highly recommend undergoing a patch test, which must be done at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled treatment. If you choose not to have a patch test, you assume full responsibility for any potential adverse effects or sensitivities that may arise. Patch tests are an essential step in identifying potential allergies, and by declining them, you accept the risks associated with the treatment.
It is your responsibility to inform us if you have previously experienced an adverse reaction to any treatments. Our team reserves the right to refuse a treatment based on your medical history to ensure both your safety and the best possible outcome.
Please note that we do not offer refunds for treatments due to potential adverse reactions or sensitivities. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priority.
